Lou is from South Carolina and graduated from the University of Montana. His first job out of college was as a salesman for Milliken Carpets in Denver, CO. He then started commercial flooring companies in Denver and Kansas City and eventually sold them to Shaw Inc. who asked him to move to Seattle. He started Legacy Group with John and Bert in 1999. Lou has four grown sons.

Bert is a graduate from Montana State University. His first job out of college was as a salesman for Smith Kline Beechman in Denver, CO. He later worked as a sales manager for a computer furniture manufacturer until starting his own business in 1996. Bert started Legacy Group with Lou and John in 1999. He is currently taking evening courses towards his MSA in accounting. Bert has three daughters, two sons, and one granddaughter.

History - Experience
I attended Washington State University and then moved to Seattle in 1989. I worked at Zenith Administrators as a purchasing agent. In 1995 I began working at Finch Commercial Moving which has since evolved into Legacy Group. My role with the company has ranged from project management, operations and sales, to now strictly outside sales.

I’ve been in furniture for twenty years. I owned my own upholstery and drapery business for eight years back in Texas. I’ve been in commercial interiors for nine years. I’ve managed individual small projects to large projects with eight floors of furniture with over twenty- five different vendors. I’ve been with Legacy Group for four years and love every minute of it. We have a very special environment which makes me proud to be a part of the Legacy Team.
